Final Front Cover Progression

This is the original outline of my magazine cover. Before I can insert the final image for my
cover I will need to add more interesting fonts for the subtitles and subtext and create a border
for it. In order to make it stand up and compete effectively with other magazine covers and to make it
more graphically advanced and professional. As well as all the text advancements that need to be done
I also need to do a number of other things firstly I will need to insert the main image of the two cover models
and crop it down to the correct size so the other features e.g. other smaller images can be seen. Also when
inserted I will also need to ensure that it is placed behind all the other features of the magazine except from
the masthead, the reason being is because other magazines often do this to make it seem more fashionable
and mainstream. To decorate my cover further I am also planning to add some video game sprites, not only
will this give the background more decoration preventing it from looking too plain. Furthermore including
these sprites fits in well with the theme of gaming for my magazine.

Here is the image that I used complete with a very small level of manipulation to give it more
of an interesting effect.

Here is the final magazine cover - there were a number of stages that I had to go through
before I could reach this stage.

Video game sprites such as this needed to be added to give some colour and variation to the background.
It would also be used to fit in with the theme of gaming - this character design was taken from Marvel Vs
Capcom 2, a well known game among the real gamer and nerd tribe. This may be changed on my final magazine cover,

Finally I will need to download my final fonts from dafont.com in order to give my magazine more of an interesting text variety and so I am not limited to the fonts currently available on Photoshop CS6.

I will also need to add a bar code and price to my final image in order to complete the final effect of the magazine cover
